Always the best standards
Having the most modern technical equipment allows our patients an access to the highest possible quality of diagnosis and treatment as well as being comfortable. All of our computers are on a fully networked system, which allows every employee access to patient pictures, x-rays, and treatment information from any workstation. Because we work with so many photographs and digital x-rays, every workstation has a large, high-quality monitor installed. Most importantly, the pictures from the patients can also be used during the consultation for visualizing and for the planning of the procedure by every orthodontist. This is why we use the world leading, orthodontic software “QuickCeph” (www.quickceph.com).
The digital properties of our X-ray system keep the radiation exposure to a minimum and delivers fast results. As the X-ray machine works completely free of chemicals and recycled materials, it is environmentally compatible.
Modern Intraoral Scan
Since December 2018, we have had an intraoral scanner for digital impression taking in our practice, so that we no longer need traditional impressions with impression trays and impression material. Our iTero® scanner enables the production of precise data sets at the same time as traditional impressions, which can be viewed immediately on the screen and sent to dental laboratories or Invisalign® for processing. Thanks to this development, very heavy archives with plaster models will eventually no longer exist. Scanning the teeth with 3D scanners directly in the mouth is likely to replace the traditional impression with impression tray and impression material in the long term. Unfortunately, the 3D scan of legally insured patients cannot be billed until today, so that the technology can only be used by private patients and self-payers.
Enviting Atmosphere
By having an inviting ambient in combination with patient-friendly designed rooms, we have a huge impact on whether or not the patients have a comfortable treatment. Of course, all treatment rooms are fully integrated with climate control so that we can work comfortably in the hot season. Naturally, good lighting and harmonic color-schemes belong to this concept as well. Good orthodontics works best in a good environment!
Hygiene and Quality
The application of the most modern technology is also there, even when you cannot see it: in the practice hygiene, especially during our water treatment, in the sterilization area, and also in our laboratory.
